Description
The location Nussberg is the best location of the Gross family and is located around the winery, which was built right next to the best part of the hillside location. The Sauvignon Blanc Nussberg was fermented in large wooden barrels and then aged for a further 12 months on the yeast. In the nose, the wood and the yeast storage is still slightly noticeable at the beginning, but with some air this impression disappears increasingly, then comes yellow gooseberry, some grapefruit and a touch of exoticism, in the background also some vegetal notes. Juicy and firm on the palate, slightly creamy, slightly pineapple, slightly chalky structure, slightly bizarre, with a touch of brioche, remains discreet and delicate but very long-lasting. One of the great Sauvignons from Styria.
