Triebaumer Mariental - the epitome of top red wines from Austria. On barren shell limestone soil with very old vines grows an expressive Blaufränkisch. Medium ruby garnet, violet reflexes, intense dark berry fruit on the nose, blackberries, leather, licorice, delicate vanilla and cinnamon, rooibos tea, slight ethereal nuances. Straightforward, straightforward, juicy and deep on the palate, ripe berries, black cherries, dark chocolate, lots of finesse, very dense texture, full-bodied tannins, light citrus notes, precise mineral notes on the finish, perfectly balanced.
