This Crozes-Hermitage 2015 is a 100% Syrah. It comes from a hillside plot planted with old vines over 35 years old. The soil is typical of its region: clay-silty limestone and sand-gravelly. The vinification of the Guigal house is always precise and meticulous: the alcoholic fermentations and the temperatures are controlled. The vatting time is 3 weeks in stainless steel tanks, which guarantees the purity of the fruit. The breeding is an essential step in the development of this Rhone red wine. It remains 24 months in oak barrels. These assets are undeniable and mark the will to preserve an irreproachable quality vintage after vintage.
